Utilize Fundamental Ratio Analysis Tools
Fundamental ratio analysis is an investment approach that focuses on specific relationships, or ratios, of the financial data of a company. This method offers a "snap shot" of a company's value, where the analysis is a review of a firm's financial report.
Recognizing the importance of these relationships and ratios, Investment Account Manager provides the investor with a comprehensive set of informative ratios that may be helpful in discovering undervalued securities. The data for deriving these variables can be entered manually, downloaded (in part) from the stock data subscription provided by StockCentral.com or imported from AAII's Stock Investor Pro software.

The Asset Library stores the most recent asset information that is shared globally by portfolios. This data is accessed by portfolios and is used for deriving values, reports, etc.
The Asset Library screen shows the individual security information for the highlighted asset in the Current Asset List. This tab allows users to edit any individual security information. These variables can be manually entered, downloaded (in part) from the StockCentral.com data subscription, or imported automatically from AAII's Stock Investor Pro software.
Once the necessary variables have been imported (or entered manually), Investment Account Manager derives fundamental ratios that can be used for better investing decisions. Investors will find the set of informative ratios helpful in discovering undervalued securities, especially since the valuation ratios table can be sorted in either ascending or descending order. For example, if you wanted to sort your asset library based upon dividend yield, listing the higher yielding stocks first, with just a couple of mouse clicks you'll have the sort order as you requested.
